Context
The policy exists. What is missing is showing that it is applied.
The PRSAC must be approved, implemented and applied to clients, operations and suppliers, and the new GRSAC, under BCB Resolution 586 and BCB IN 772, brings quantitative tables. The question is no longer “what is the policy” but “where is the evidence”.
- Spreadsheets and email. Each area sends its part, and consolidation becomes a project every period, with no trail.
- Scattered data. Client, supplier and portfolio information sits in different systems, far from whoever writes the report.
- Auditors asking for evidence. Internal audit, external auditors and supervisors want to see the policy applied case by case, not just the approved document.
Without that link, the report is disconnected from risk management. ESGreen PRSAC and GRSAC connects the policy, the operation and the report on the same base.
From policy to report

What is the difference between PRSAC and GRSAC?
The PRSAC is the Social, Environmental and Climate Responsibility Policy that the institution approves and applies to clients, operations and suppliers (CMN Resolution 4,945). The GRSAC is the report in which the institution discloses how it manages social, environmental and climate risks and opportunities; the new GRSAC is set out in BCB Resolution 586 and BCB IN 772, with quantitative tables. The module connects both ends: the applied policy becomes an indicator, and the indicator becomes a report with evidence.
Does ESGreen provide assurance?
No. ESGreen provides data, evidence and an audit trail. The reasonable assurance required by CMN 5,185 is performed by an independent auditor, and the policy and the GRSAC report belong to the institution. The module organizes the evidence that auditors and supervisors ask for.
Does platform data go into the report?
Yes. The counterparties' ESGreen Score, the portfolio's IRC-ESGreen, Monitoring of clients, suppliers and partners, the Alert Center and Supplier qualification all feed in as inputs, with source and date. The Alert Center shows the policy applied in practice, with documented follow-up.
Does it fit my institution and segment?
Yes. The PRSAC applies to all institutions in Brazil's National Financial System, cooperatives included, and the GRSAC report covers S1 to S4 institutions. Content is tailored to size and segment, from S1 to S5. The status of each rule by segment is on the regulatory map.
Who takes part in filling it in?
The areas responsible for the policy and the indicators, such as sustainability, risk, credit, procurement, ombudsman, people management and internal controls, work in the same cycle, with profile-based access and revision history.
What happens to the history between cycles?
Each reporting period is its own cycle. Indicators, evidence and revisions from previous cycles are kept, to compare progress on targets and answer audit questions about any period already published.
How does it relate to IFRS S1/S2 reporting?
Institutions subject to CMN 5,185 also report under CBPS 01 and 02 pronouncements. ESGreen IFRS S1/S2 reporting uses the same data and evidence base, so both reports tell the same story.
How is the engagement defined?
By scope: the institution's size and segment, the platform data included, users and access profiles, contract term and integrations. There is no public pricing.
